  • Prior to her work in the makeup department, Wood portrayed a regular background character, Ensign Bailey, on several seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation. On at least two call sheets she was listed under her full name, Natalie Winwood. She, along with the rest of the makeup team, was nominated for five Emmy Awards, four times for "Outstanding Makeup For A Series" in 1995 (VOY: "Faces"), 1999 (DS9: "The Dogs of War"), 2000 (VOY: "Ashes to Ashes"), and 2001 (VOY: "The Void"). The fifth nomination was for "Outstanding Makeup For A Series (Prosthetic)" in 2002 for her work on ENT: "Broken Bow". Outside of the Star Trek franchise, she has worked on a number of movies including Last Action Hero, Demolition Man, The Fan, U-Turn, two Alien Nation television movies, and Spectres starring Marina Sirtis.
