"Back in the old days", both were boarders at the Sunset Arms, and returned there for a brief time after their breakup in the episode "Partners".

| Biography | - Don Reynolds is a former NASCAR driver from Cabazon, CA. He competed in four Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten.
Reynolds' debut came in 1974, when he competed at Riverside. Starting 32nd in the field of thirty-five, Reynolds completed all but sixteen laps in route to a solid 10th place effort. He was also solid at Ontario, finishing 18th and just a few laps off the pace.
Reynolds next race came in 1975, when he returned to Riverside. Starting 32nd again, Reynolds was poised for another solid finish until a mid-race engine issue dumped him to 20th.
Reynolds' final career race came in 1976, when he again returned to Riverside. Starting 31st in the field of thirty-five, Reynolds completed all but twelve laps and was rewarded with a solid 19th place effort.

Durante il faccia a faccia, Ben mostra a Reynolds le email che confermano la relazione con l'infermiera. Il Preside Reynolds gli fa una controproposta: per conservare il suo posto è disposto a scrivere una lettera di raccomandazione alla Yale University per Alex Rousseau, la studentessa preferita di Ben.
