Then, in late-2004, Sammy left the band and was replaced by fellow local musician (of Neon Lipstick, Nelson Rodriguez. DiGiTs were featured in OC Weekly in December, 2007 and played a live, on-air set on the ZM Radio program (now Extra Large Saturdays) on KUCI in late 2006.DiGiTs has influenced the start of many other bands in the area. Felipe started Ex Ex as a side project to DiGiTs and he joined A.M. in mid-2007, but left the band in January, 2008. Jose is a founding member of National Dear Park and a current member of Dirt Dress, Miguel began My Pet Saddle as a side project to DiGiTs in Spring of 2005 and Nelson was a founding member of Neon Lipstick and The Zookeepers.
