Previously teaching Acting for Camera at Webber Douglas Drama School, he took up the post of Senior Lecturer in Acting at the Rose Bruford College in 2006 and has directed adaptations of Body of Water, Julius Caesar, Macbeth, The Winter's Tale, The Seagull, Three Sisters, Punk Rock and Herons, August and Earthquakes. He is a visiting Lecturer at East 15 Acting School where he leads workshops on both Brecht and Shakespeare. An interest in Greek Theatre led to a BA in History and Archaeology, a Masters in Classical Studies and a diploma from the Epidauros Summer School run by the University of Athens. Julian is also a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy.
