| abstract | - Darth Matas is a Zabrak Sith Lord and Emperor of the Galactic Empire. Darth Matas was born on Iridonia to two exiled Dark Jedi on 50 ABY as Kadrian Kolar. He was trained in the ways of the force and the nature of the Dark Side since birth. He grew up knowing only Dark Sided feelings of rage and battle and was the stereotypical warlike being of his species. Matas was skilled in many lightsaber forms including Jar'Kai, Vapaad, Djem So and telekinetic lightsaber combat. He invented a Jar'Kai/Vapaad mix and would use it in battle. Matas was known to wield two lightsabers, one bronze and the other red. He also had a green lightwip that was used rarely. Matas was the Supreme General, Supreme Commander, and later Emperor of the Sith Empire. Matas participated in some of the major wars in the galaxy including the Chiss War and the Force War. He married Xianna Racor, a Twi'lek Sith, and had hybrid offspring. His offspring would be next in line for the Imperial throne. He was the father to Sirak Kolar, Ja'ce Kolar, Daeshako'lar, Numako'lar, and Kun Kolar.
