Their appearance is very similar to dust devils and sea devils, and they have stats identical to both dust and sea devils. Dark devils do not require players to have 65 Slayer to fight them. Instead, 56 Monstercrafting is required to release them from their box. Just like dust and sea devils, the creature drops the dragon chainbody. The dark devil, however, drops runes a lot more often than the other two creatures.
