- After successfully putting Magic Pentagram under control, I went to see Alcaster, the 3rd president of the Alchemist Union, again. I wonder what he's thinking, with that soothing smile that instinctively makes us put our guards down...?
- The person that Dr. De Lang trusts the most is actually Dr. De Lang's friend Eurek the Alchemist. When I handed Eurek the Alchemist the Dran's Note, he looked concerned as he peered through the notes...
- Magatia... With the secrets behind the town of alchemy about to be unveiled, I needed to see someone that is aware of its history... which means only one person. Alcaster.
- At Dr. De Lang's underground study, I was able to locate a strange book. Maybe this book contains Dr. De Lang's Secret Notes! A hole that's found in the middle of the book looks like if I find the right item, it may fit perfect in the hole... if the key to the Secret Notes is made out of silver, as mentioned by the Wandering Alchemist, then maybe Silver Pendant is the key.
- I brought Homunculus's Blood as ordered by Alcaster. Without any hesitation, Alcaster poured the blood all over Dran's Note...
- A great alchemist who served as the 3rd president of the Alchemist Union in Magatia... That's Alcaster.

- You received one of the magic stones from Alcaster. You can find the others in Magatia. Take all three stones to the Black Mage's research lab, through the secret passage between the Zenumist and Alcadno institutes to get there.
- I found something inside that strange book, and that was Dr. De Lang's Secret Notes. Let's see what's inside... based on the information inside, I'll have to figure out the person that Dr. De Lang trusts the most, and then go to that person to clarify it.
- When I showed Alcaster Dran's Note, he took a good look at it, and told me if I wanted to unveil the hidden message, I'll have to bring Homunculus's Blood.

- After reading Dran's Note, Eurek the Alchemist realized what Dr. De Lang wanted was...really nothing significant. He felt sad about the whole situation, and as he observed the note, something caught Eurek the Alchemist's eyes as he realized there was a hidden message on the back of the note. He then mentioned that Alcaster might be the person to talk to to reveal the hidden message.
- Magatia, the town of alchemists, has a dark history that had been hidden away from the public. Magatia was built where the Black Magician's Lab was a long time ago, when the Wizard ruled all of Ossyria. The town was initially growing with the experiments conducted by the Black Magician as foundation. If this fact is ever let out to the public, the damage to Magatia's reputation might be irreparable, they say...

- When I told Phyllia of my intentions to investigate more on Dr. De Lang, she contended that she'd rather prefer me conducting this as opposed to people from Alcadno or Zenumist. She then proceeded to tell me something that no one is aware of: Dr. De Lang's underground study. It may have been gathering dust from no one visiting, but I may be able to find a clue or two there...

- I mentioned the book I found at the underground study to Phyllia. I told her that the book may hold the clue to Dr. De Lang's disappearance... then I asked Phyllia for Silver Pendant. She seemed hesitant, but she gave me the item in the end. Time to go back to the underground study.
