The film is produced and presented by actress Kristen Wiig, Zac Efron of High School Musical fame, Lea Michele of Glee who appears in the film as Bernadette lead vocalist and comedic actor John C. Reilly. The film is distributed by Paramount Pictures and it's extensive company Paramount Vantage as well in working in colloboration with Dreamworks Pictures.
