  • Nels Podolsky (born December 19, 1925) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who played eight National Hockey League games for the Detroit Red Wings during the 1948–49 NHL season. He played junior hockey for the Montreal Junior Royals and the Galt Kists (a Detroit Red Wings' farm team) from 1942 to 1944. He then entered the Canadian military and played for Halifax Navy in 1944-45. Podolsky ended up playing three seasons for the Troy Bruins from 1954 to 1957 and ended his career with the senior Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in 1957-58.

Marie Greyhounds in 1957-58.
