  • Blinded is a state that is applied through various attacks by different professions. A player or MOB that is blinded has a large reduced combat accuracy and a mildly reduced defenses, and therefore will not hit as often and be slightly easier to hit. Because accuracy also influences damage output, blinded players will do less damage overall. A Medic can cure this state by using Stabilizers. Additionally, this state can be recovered from. Current implementation status: working
  • Blinded is a status effect that causes characters to have their attack accuracy reduced by 75% and make them unable to dodge attacks for 3-5 turns. This effect is common on Light attacks.
  • Blinded is a condition. * You grant combat advantage. * You can’t see any target (your targets have total concealment). * You take a −10 penalty to Perception checks. * You can’t flank an enemy.
  • Blinded is the twelfth episode of Lie to me, first broadcast on May 6, 2009.
  • The Blinded Woman, also known as Blinded, is a hostile female spirit in Fatal Frame. She is the last blind demon to perform the Demon Tag Ritual before The Calamity. She was also one of a line of maidens chosen to serve a role during the Himuro Mansion Blinding Ritual to fulfill the role of the Blinded Maiden. Although she successfully fulfilled her task, she became a victim of an upcoming curse; as the final stage of another ritual resulted in an ultimate failure. Her corrupted spirit returned as a ghost, whether she is haunting the mansion seeking vengeance for her loss, or simply trying to find the next Blinded Maiden and Rope Shrine Maiden, is not known.
  • A blinded character is unable to see. Attacks made while blind have a 50% miss chance and a -4 penalty to hit. Spells that require targeting others cannot be cast as a direct line of sight is required for this. The game's AI handles blindness poorly, and blinded entities controlled by the AI will not attack at all.
  • Stabler suffers temporary blindness from an injury caused by a sexual predator afflicted with schizophrenia. Benson's special interest in the case puts her at odds with ADA Novak, who has a personal agenda of her own.
  • The character cannot see. He takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class, loses his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any), moves at half speed, and takes a –4 penalty on Search checks and on most Strength- and Dexterity-based skill checks. All checks and activities that rely on vision (such as reading and Spot checks) automatically fail. All opponents are considered to have total concealment (50% miss chance) to the blinded character. Characters who remain blinded for a long time grow accustomed to these drawbacks and can overcome some of them.
  • Blinded is a status effect which Lowers the character sight radius. Blinded creature receives -4 penalty on attack rolls and 4 penalty on armor class, but the real power of blindness comes not from these penalties(which are strong in their own right) but from the "undocumented" feature that all affected enemies have their sight range reduced to 0. Since they cannot see anything, they cannot target anything either, and therefore can be indiscriminately slaughtered with ranged weapons(or even two-handed weapons, which all have extra range) without being able to retaliate.

Since they cannot see anything, they cannot target anything either, and therefore can be indiscriminately slaughtered with ranged weapons(or even two-handed weapons, which all have extra range) without being able to retaliate. This status effect can be inflicted by the spells Blindness, Prismatic Spray, Glitterdust, Holy Smite, Sol's Searing Orb, Sunray, Nature's Beauty and Power Word Blind. Also, it can be caused by the special attack of the Smoke Mephit. Magic Resistance and Scroll of Protection from Magic can prevent all the above effects. Spell Immunity can prevent Blindness and Nature's Beauty, if cast with choosing Illusion school, Holy Smite if cast with Necromancy, Sunray if cast with Evocation and Power Word Blind if cast with immunity against Evocation school. Potion of Magic Blocking can prevent the effects of Blindness, Holy Smite and Sunray. If affected, one can cure the Blinded effect with Cure Disease, Dispel Magic, Remove Magic, and Scroll of Protection from Magic. Potion of Magic Blocking can remove the Blinded effect of Blindness, Holy Smite and Sunray.
