  • It has a 33% chance of countering any damage-dealing attack with Snort, which blows a character out of the battle. The Dragon's Tail special is a powerful physical attack that can likely KO a character in one hit, and it can also use Revenge Blast, which deals as much damage as the Dragon has lost HP, which can be deadly. Its attack arsenal is rounded out with Snowstorm and Freezing Dust, the latter of which Frozen a character. A good strategy is to cast Stop on them, and then attack with Thundara to hit the Dragon's weakness to Lightning.

abstract
  • It has a 33% chance of countering any damage-dealing attack with Snort, which blows a character out of the battle. The Dragon's Tail special is a powerful physical attack that can likely KO a character in one hit, and it can also use Revenge Blast, which deals as much damage as the Dragon has lost HP, which can be deadly. Its attack arsenal is rounded out with Snowstorm and Freezing Dust, the latter of which Frozen a character. A good strategy is to cast Stop on them, and then attack with Thundara to hit the Dragon's weakness to Lightning. It is highly recommended the player fight the Dragon at least once before exiting the Floating Continent, as Locke can steal Genji Gloves from them, so the player can go to the Veldt to stock up on the rare and powerful item whenever they wish later in the game.
