  • The Eradicator-class Heavy War Robot was an Ingzan war robot based on the ancient War Robots of the Xim Empire. During their travels of the Coruscant Galaxy, Ingzan military and technology experts found certain items, droids, ships etc they could copy and use in their own civilization. The Xim Empire's "Guardian Corps" war robot was an extremely outdated droid from the days before the Galactic Republic, which was outdated several millennia over by the time the Ingza and Bregaro heard about them.

abstract
  • The Eradicator-class Heavy War Robot was an Ingzan war robot based on the ancient War Robots of the Xim Empire. During their travels of the Coruscant Galaxy, Ingzan military and technology experts found certain items, droids, ships etc they could copy and use in their own civilization. The Xim Empire's "Guardian Corps" war robot was an extremely outdated droid from the days before the Galactic Republic, which was outdated several millennia over by the time the Ingza and Bregaro heard about them. Upon hearing how successful the droids were the Ingzans and Bregarans decided to copy them and then use to assist policing backwater colonies, and to serve as back-up droids should an invasion take place, much like how the Hutts used their Guardian Corps droids. Much like their predecessor, the Eradicators were extremely tough opponents, they were covered in heavy armour plating, and their weak spots reinforced, however unlike the original model, the Eradicator-class didn't use arm-mounted weaponry, rather the first model of Eradicator used specially created handheld weapons designed specifically for their extraordinarily long fingers. However the logistical difficulties of this meant subsequent models were given more "normal" sized fingers. One Eradicator is worth 300 native soldiers! A platoon of Eradicators are more than enough to police some colonies! Only the richer and more powerful rulers of less-important colonies can get their hands on Eradicator droids! Since I command a platoon of Eradicator droids on this godforsaken ball of dust, that should tell you of my power and wealth!—An Ingzan colonial governor on the Eradicator The Eradicator droids were highly sought after by governors of backwater colonies to both police their world, and do show off their wealth and status, since only the wealthiest and important governors of backwater colonies had the wealth and influence to able to afford a platoon of Eradicator droids, many governors praised their Eradicator robots, and considered one Eradicator to be worth roughly a few hundred native soldiers, because of robots' resilience to battle damage. The first model of Eradicator robot, the Mark I, had little independence, they were controlled by a signal, the earliest models were more or less cannon fodder, designed to march against an enemy and defeat as many enemies as possible before being destroyed, however IRC looked at the history of signal-controlled droids, and decided against using signals, since it would mean that even an entire army of Eradicator, which typically would be enough to destroy any enemy infantry force, would become useless if the signal was somehow knocked out, the risks were considered too great to continue with development of signal-controlled Eradicator, so IRC brought an end to the production of the Eradicator Mk I. Following models were free of a control signal, meaning they had greater independence, and they better tactical processing, with a special commander variant having extremely good tactical knowledge. Despite their increases in intelligence, the Mark II was still generally limited to one-word status reports. The Mark III was improved further with more intelligence, whilst the Mark IV was the ultimate model of Eradicator, the Eradicator Mk IV was among some of the Ingza's smartest robots. The later models of Eradicator robots were generally too expensive for smaller colonies to afford, so they were generally found only on rich, important colonies, so colonial governors of small, backwater colonies were still using Mark I Eradicators even when the Mark IV was being released. Eradicator robots served in the Rebellion against the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire and the concurrent Dezendyan-Vás Fued as part of the Tripartite forces, they were extremely effective, an army of Eradicators was usually more than enough to win any ground battle, though they were usually supported by other droids, and by organic troops, usually the organic troops destroyed rebel vehicles whilst the Eradicator droids and other robots marched at the rebel infantry forces, and devastated them. The Eradicator was one of the most feared weapons in the Tripartite arsenal.
