  • The very first "live" concert done with a Vocaloid used Zero-G's Miriam. The concert was held in Novosibirsk, Russia, in the Main Concert Hall of State Philharmony. This 4-hour event was called "Polyphony Studio 5th Anniversary Concert" and featured well known Russian bands, choirs, orchestras as well as Miriam. She performed "Sad Mondays", originally by Dr. Ravi E. Dattatreya, with live musicians. She was not projected onto the stage in any shape or form, instead Ekaterina Basalaeva and Olga Sheina danced during her performance.

  • This event, titled "Miku, Beyond the Character: The Cutting Edge of Miku Miku Dance Software", was the first live performance with AniMiku. It was held at MIT. The event was broadcast over Nico Nico Douga and various other TV station from Japan. Ryotaro Mihara, Masataka-P and Ian Condry were also present. The presentation includes a demonstration of a prototype projection of Miku live, and a screening of an abridged version of Mikunopolis. It was followed by a keynote lecture by Hiroyuki Itoh titled "Miku, Virtual Idol, as Media Platform: Transforming Media Creativity".
