Unfortunately, once everyone else hears about how he loves Vulpix, Charmander is also shown to have a romantic interest, and challenged Silver to a battle, Silver only dodged a single punch, after that, Eevee went in and stopped the fight, stimulating a rivalry between the two (Charmander and Silver). When Blue Adventure Squad was almost placed under arrest, if it weren't for White Heat Wave, his adoptive grandfather, they wouldn't have been arrested, Silver and White being the first two to be excused from arrest. But, Silver spends lesser and lesser time with Blue Adventure Squad later... Silver is then seen making a bouquet for Vulpix, his adoptive first cousin Spark helping him, but, as he was making the Bouquet, Solar learns that Vulpix and her team stole from Mew, a Grass Cornet...Later telling Silver in his dreams, heartbroken, he cries when he wakes. Later on, he deals a mortal blow to the Wise Old Ampharos, revealing to be a Quilava later on in the story, showing to have evolved. Solar scored another hit on Ampharos, only to get shocked and later on, deliberately committing attempted sacrifice so the others can put an end to Ampharos. When Ampharos is hit, Silver is fully healed, saying that he had a Master Plan, which shocked Ninetales. He later on is shown to blast Ampharos' Orb into a Spacial Rend, putting and end to the maniac. Silver is then later on shown after Scizor's defeat, calling Charmander (Now a Charmeleon) a punk, and showing how long he can hold a grudge. Silver, as shown in Pokemon Adventure Book Two, has regained his love interest into Vulpix, first shown when Charmeleon insults her, later on, while training, he takes a lot of attacks for Vulpix, becoming (Temporarily) blind. He later kicks Charmeleon in the crotch as he showboats to Silver that he's blind. Later on Charmeleon left Blue Adventure Squad, afterwards, Vulpix said that she loved Charmeleon (Leaving Silver in utter shock), Silver later lost his will to fight, but is strengthened by Ninetales and seeing Vulpix (Who turned into a Darktales when Silver tried telling her that Charmeleon insulted her). After Darkrai's capture Silver fell in a slight bit of depression, working hard to better himself all day. Sometimes nearly exhausting himself to death, unknowing of Theida (Darktales) that she learned that Charmeleon hates her. Later on Silver assists in the final fight against Darkrai, being the one to land the first hit, after the battle, Theida expresses her love for Silver and Silver does the same thing in return. In the future, Silver and Theida are mates, having three children, Dusty, Solar Junior, and Ninetales Junior.
