| Powers | - Pyrokinesis: Nathan is capable of generating heat and flame from his body. Once his fires ignite, he controls their size, shape and intensity with great precision, and can mentally manipulate his fire's movements. He sometimes uses hand gestures such as pointing to help direct his flames, but he can manipulate them without physical gestures if necessary, despite the fact that his power is physical, not mental. He tends to prefer physical methods of control. His flames are hot enough to burn through concrete, stone or steel with ease. Inferno can create incredibly complex constructs with his fire, and one one or more occasions, has been shown creating solid constructs from heat alone. He can even ignite and manipulate flames underwater. With concentration, he can generate heat fields without open flames.
**Aquatic Survival: Inferno automatically generates flames around his nose and mouth when submerged, boiling the water and creating oxygen. Thus, unless depowered, it is impossible for him to drown.
*Solar-Heated Flight: He can use his powers to create super-heated air currents which push him forward through the air, enabling him to fly. Sometimes this super-heated air is visible as a trail of flame behind Inferno. The upper limit to the speed Inferno can achieve in flight is not yet known.
*Fire Blasts: He has the ability to project the flames he generates as powerful blasts of energy.
*Heat Sense: He has the ability to sense beings by the heat signature that they give off.
*Force Field: He is protected from the heat and radiation he emits by a short-range psionic force field which automatically comes into being whenever there is air friction, and also prevents excessive amounts of light from the plasma from reaching his eyes so as to blind or damage them. Inferno's body emits a protective field whenever he uses his powers. However, through concentration, Inferno can create a more-strengthened, fire based force field that can melt oncoming projectiles.
*Bio-Plasmatic Weapons: Inferno shows an ability that no other pyrokinetic has ever shown before. By concentrating very hard on a fire construct he has made, and by swirling jets of intense flame around it, he can make an actual creation. For example, by focusing on one of his fire swords, and imbuing it with the energy of additional flame, and through some means kinetic energy, he can create an actual metal sword. It is unknown if this is due to sorcery, or some other means. But due to its effects on his body, he rarely does it. Though, his collection of several dozen swords indicates that he may be becoming better at it.
