It was a tough day for Crozier, starting last (40th) and only making it to 27th place by day's end due to some overheating woes. Crozier added three more starts during the 1985 season, when he finished a series-high 54th in the year-end points. He had a good start to the year, faring much better at Dover to finish in 15th. But Crozier ultimately struggled to close out the year, blowing an engine to finish 33rd at Michigan and overheating to 37th at Dover in the fall. Crozier's next two races came during the 1986 season, when he started off the year at Dover once again. And once again, an early DNF hurt Crozier there, finishing 39th. Crozier also made his first career start at Rockingham in the fall, finishing 28th with a broken driveshaft. Crozier's final two races came during the 1989 season, though it still proved to be a tough year for the driver. Transmission failure at Pocono hurt Crozier's chances there, leaving him 38th. He also competed at Dover one final time, finishing 37th.
