| abstract | - Clever Ashyo is a jinyu graduate of the Tian Monastery in the Jade Forest. Together with his friends Xiao, Lin Tenderpaw, Kang Bramblestaff, and Ken-Ken, he is on a quest to find the "Hidden Master". One of the locations he can be found is Pang's Stead in the Valley of the Four Winds, conversing with his friends prior to departing for New Cifera and the Pools of Purity. Xiao thinks he is not particularly more clever than other jinyu, though has proved himself a capable fighter. Ashyo has overcome the teachings of his people regarding hozen for the most part, having loosely befriended Ken-Ken. The two have a quarrelsome relationship, however.
