Ylesian Special Forces after the Vong war were often used as black ops units to further the goals of the Ylesian Republic. As well YSF soldiers protected members of Ylesian Republic Intelligence whenever the YRI conducted illegal arm sells outside of Ylesian Space. Ylesian Special Forces were just as skilled as New Republic Special Forces or its Alliance successor. But Ylesian Special Forces were far more experienced due to the harsh training program the YSF did used.
