He was captured in the process and placed in a makeshift prison, until he was rescued by GDI forces under the command of Colonel Louise James and a GDI Commander, acting on orders from General Raven. Once he was saved, he reestabilished contact with Command and opened an electric fence, to allow allied forces to move through. The information he provided, revealed that Nod was working on a new weapon. To cripple their research effort, the commander was granted Mammoth tanks to destroy the enemy.
