abstract
  • The Centrist Coalition Party of Disparu (French: Parti de la Coalition centriste du Disparu), commonly known as the Centrist Coalition (French: Coalition centriste) is a political party in Disparu. Its members are informally referred to as "céquistes", although the party prefers the term "coalisés". The party is currently led by Margaux Landry. Many of its members were formerly part of the Democratic Party. The party claims to be a catch-all centrist party, thus it holds moderate views on both social and economic issues. However, it is composed of numerous factions that either lean to the left or the right. This factor, its connection to the Democratic Party, and its late creation on 2 June 2012 caused it to perform poorly in the election that followed eight days later. The party currently holds eight seats in the National Assembly.
