It is officially listed as a religious body making it free from taxation but is effectively run as a business operation. During the many years of private education in the nation it became synonomous with high quality schools but has also ventured into running natural medicine shops as well as a few banks. Aside from this it is involved in a number of charity operations such as feeding the homless and maintaining neglected gardens and parks.
