  • Dim Mak
rdfs:comment
  • Dim Mak ("death touch") is the Chinese term for the skill of striking pressure points on the human body. Pressure points are those which affect a person's nervous or circulatory system, and are the same points used in the healing arts of acupuncture and acupressue. They are located all over the body. Striking these points can cause anything from disabling pain to death. Many Asian and Asian-influenced martial arts incorporate training in this skill. Arts which especially concentrate on pressure-point strikes include Varma Kalai and Shorinji Kempo. The Japanese term for Dim Mak is kyusho jutsu.
  • Dim Mak was a Mastery 2 maho fire spell forever immortalized in a play by Ikoma Tseinosuke about a corrupted sect of the Brotherhood of Shinsei. What made it legend was how it worked with but the slightest brush of fingertips. This attack took advantage of the varying circulation of blood and chi during the day. A single strike at the blood closest to the surface resulted in injury or death. They increased its power by sacrificing a tainted sentient creature.
