Apaios' population is 50,000, most of whom are just the descendants of Dexes' colonists. It is a tourist attraction, being of colorful buildings, marvelous statues of the Mother Sphinx, and long docks, and a deep harbor. It is also home to a beautiful beach, known to the Lobott as the Small Sandbar.
