- Marek is an assassin hired by the Iron Throne to kill Gorion's Ward and their party. Unlike the other assassins, he will try to achieve this through poison instead of open battle as the antagonist of the Marek and Lothander quest.

- Marek Curtis Wright (Ingame Marek) is a character in the quest Sea Exploration. He is one of the three mercenaries hired by Junior to protect him on his journey through the uncharted seas. You give him an Adamant longsword at the beginning of the quest. During the quest, he helps fight off the pirates by engaging one in the background. He is the only one of the three to actually kill his target, as the cutscene shows. After the quest he, Steve, and Junior can all be found wandering around the ship. If you speak to him after the quest you get the following dialog.
- While living on the Sphere, Marek met Zara and they conceived a child together. Marek escaped the Sphere before it was destroyed, and sought Abby and Zara through time and space. (AUDIO: The Sphere, AUDIO: The Fog) When Marek found Zara, he helped her with her pregnancy, then fled with the child to protect her from the pirate Kreekpolt. Marek was eventually tracked down by Zara. Marek joined her mission to do good in the universe. (AUDIO: The End) He came to Brondle as an insurance salesman. This was what happened after his family was saved by Abby and Zara. (AUDIO: Consequences)

* Marek: You too, Player. After starting Peril of the Three Kingdoms, Marek seems to have moved from the boat to Varrock Palace on the Third Floor, now titled "Sir Marek", and he appears to be a well dressed nobleman.
