  • Biblioteca de los Indios (Library of the Indians) is a library and museum in Spain. It contained many artifacts and texts from the timeframe of the Spanish conquest of South America. In 1937, after decades of requests, the Biblioteca agreed to loan a collection of artifacts to the Museo de las Pacificas in Buenos Aires. One of the texts in the loaned materials was the diary of Vasco de la Posco. Also included in the shipments were statues and vases. Eduardo believed that the threat of upcoming war in Europe was what let the Biblioteca agree to the loan - for the safety of the artifacts.
