As for the Tree Spirit, it was killed by Echo Demon Armed's Fierce Demon Arousal. Unfortunately for FIERCE, as well as the "Man & Woman", the Forest of the Tree Spirits' sudden appearance was an omen to signal the coming of Dragon. Another wooden puppet medium appears during Dragon, destroyed by Slashing Demon's Thunderbolt Slashing Quake.

  • The tree spirit was a random event encountered while training Woodcutting. While players were chopping trees, the spirit would emerge and attack the player; shouting, "Leave these woods and never return!" The level of the tree spirit depended on the player's combat level. Presently, this creature can be found from Enchanted Valley using the fairy ring code when attempting to cut down a tree. Because of the common nature rune drops (the drop rate will change depending on your combat level) supplemented by drops of rune and adamant axes and various seeds, tree spirits can be good money, although not much experience will be gained, next to no experience if you've ranged them. It is worth noting that unlike the tree spirit you fight in the Lost City quest, these tree spirits are not undead and therefore you cannot use the Crumble Undead spell against them.
