  • Limited Edition (LTD) is a line of limited numbered rare furni, first released during the Easter 2012 promotion. The first rare, The Black Leviathan, was released on April 4, 2012. Later on more Limited Edition furniture were released. Due to the limited number of these rares released, nearly all of the rares doubled in price after they sold out (if they did). The prices after the rares that have sold out can vary, depending on how many squares the LTD takes up in a room, the look, and also the number which the LTD was. The numbers are randomly issued when the rare is bought and are not issued in according to what place you bought the items in, for example the first person to buy a specific rare, may not receive the #1 LTD.
  • Limited Edition (also known as LE) is a limited store in the Starplaza that is periodically released every season. The stock is limited, similar to Antidote, Young Hollywood, Runway and Strike a Pose. Limited Edition was the first limited store to be introduced, paving the way for other brands in the Starplaza to begin introducing limited quantities on their clothing. LE is exclusive to Superstar members only, and was released as a way for Superstar members to feel like they were getting more out of their membership. Limited Edition currently has 28 collections since its initial release in Fall 2008. A Decor line of Limited Edition was also introduced on the 8th of March, 2011, which is currently on its 11th collection.
  • __TOC__ The term limited edition is usually applied to an event item. Such items are almost always explicitly marked as having a limited availability. The vast majority of limited edition items are found in the market, but, as of July 2010, there has also been a co-op job of limited duration as well. Limited edition items can be seeds, animals, decorations, buildings, trees, or even games and fuel. Rarely, some limited edition items return to the market as permanent items after the conclusion of their related event.

  • Engineers have designed this armor to meet the needs of looters and scavengers while out finding supplies in the city. Made from heavy, dense fabric and Kevlar bands instead of steel and metal components, it allows for free, unimpeded body movement--ideal for rummaging through wreckage and debris for anything useful, and for making quick escapes should any infected draw near. Being a relatively new armor among survivors, it is an uncommon sight among those who rarely stick around the outposts in the first place.
  • The Hazard Mesh is a rubberised, steel plated suit used predominantly for the protection of Secronom scientists studying the effects of the N4 Virus. Speculation has it that each suit was equipped with a Narthecium to safely inject and withdraw fluids without compromising the wearer's safety. Recently, these meshes have been seen appearing among survivors who have discovered them in Secronom areas, though it is unclear how many of these functioning meshes are left in circulation.
  • While searching for a way to clear the debris littering the streets, Fairview's demolition experts have rigged a Mortar to have a high capacity chamber system similar to an Immolator. In doing so, they have created a hand held grenade launcher that is capable of putting pre-outbreak demolition teams to shame. One thing is for sure, you do NOT want to be on the receiving end of this monstrosity, as there won't be anything left but a bloodstain to clean up.
  • This fire-spitting beast is the pride and joy of our demolition experts. The sheer power it packs is expressed both in the raw damage it deals as well as in its very appearance. The Bishop also stands apart as being the first mobile grenade launcher to utilize a clip-based feed system, allowing survivors to reload the weapon faster than any other grenade launcher.
  • An excruciatingly powerful grenade launcher, crafted from the remains of the infected. Its barrel, as best as demolition experts can tell, is crafted from the spine of a mutated survivor, the stock made from the shoulder, and the curled hand still gripping the dead heart. Grenades shot from this launcher are unlike any other in that, upon landing, they explode into fragments of bone and blood, rather than flame and shrapnel. These gory fragments easily dig into the flesh of any person nearby, whether survivors or infected. Some say that each explosion frees a lost soul from its eternal torment as an infected.
  • A gruesome chainsaw that is constructed from an array of skulls, bones, and other remains of the undead. This hell-spawned machine is the most powerful chainsaw of them all. Many owners claim that its engine roars with the echoing shrieks made by the zombies who were sacrificed to create it... coupled with the piercing screams they let out as they were being consumed in their last grisly moments as humans.
  • As if the Ripsaw G12 isn't promising enough, the mechanics presented yet another buzz-saw based weapon. Determined to outdo their previous work with the Ripsaw G12, mechanics turned to old Miter saws as a base for the X3. Making use of scrapped saw blades, the mechanics ground down the edges of the blades to a series of jagged points. The replacement of an electric motor with a gas-powered one makes the Grinder X3 an extremely dangerous and reckless weapon. If you go out into the city and take on the infected with one of these, prepare to get very, VERY messy-- the Grinder X3 has become notorious for sending blood and gore flying in all directions during its field tests.
  • Mechanics haven't neglected attention for chainsaws by any means-- the selection of newly-crafted weapons also includes the Buzzblade RN8, a chainsaw that eliminates several of the weaknesses found in pre-existing chainsaws. This chainsaw's primary difference from its predecessors lies in the design of its chain-- the teeth of the Buzzblade have a design similar to that of a circular saw, being slanted and sharpened to fine points, in order to slice through infected much more effectively than would be possible with a conventional chain. There has been some confusion regarding the purpose of the short blade affixed underneath the engine housing of this chainsaw, but mechanics involved in its development have hinted that it works as a pivoting flint, allowing survivors to hone the teeth on the chain when they begin to dull from extensive use.
  • The Scarab Reactive is a relatively new armor variant that has appeared among the warrior castes of Fairview. It's armored plates and body glove underneath provide ample protection from incoming projectiles, as well as the claws and talons of the infected and larger, more dangerous beasts. Most interesting of all is the presence of multiple external light sources, leading some to speculate that the armor is powered internally. However, until the engineers can get their hands on such a piece, it will continue to remain a mystery.
  • A strange, powerful suit of armour. Crafted from the bones and flesh of the infected themselves, this armour is the protective complement to the various Corpse Weapons. Those who own this armour have claimed to feel a strange, animal-like ferocity when fighting the undead-- almost as if they were zombies themselves. Whether it is the influence of the undead's fury and hatred towards the living, or simply the feeling of sheer power experienced by donning this highly durable armour, no one can say for certain. One thing is for sure, though-- even the undead exhibit an instant of hesitation when confronted with an attacking survivor wearing this unnerving shell of bones.
  • The outpost engineers have pushed their improvisational skills to the limit by creating one of the strongest suits of armour to date: the Steelcase Reactive. Using modified blueprints of the pre-outbreak Exterminator Reactive series, they designed a suit of armor consisting of multiple layers of armored steel shells . The layers alternate between molybdenum/vanadium alloy steel, Inconel , and Monel . By alternating layers of these three alloy steels, engineers created an armour that is all but indestructible: Not only is the Steelcase tough enough to withstand dozens of powerful blows dealt by large mutants, it also has no difficulty shrugging off any weapons fire it receives - it can even withstand the power of the GAU-19 for a time. Thanks to the combination of its unique components , the armour's versatility proved so effective that in the end, not even the pre-outbreak armours could compete with this bad boy!
  • The Vengeance Guard first came into existence during the dread black winter of the year 2020. In this time of conflict and famine, a coven of desperate engineers came together to collaborate on producing a war-plate capable of withstanding a direct hit from the dreadful and powerful beasts that prowled the perilous streets above. After months of ceaseless toiling, planning, and production, the first set of these nigh impervious Reactive's were conceived. Through trial and error, the most powerful armor to date surfaced among the re-surging warrior castes of Fairview, dubbed 'The Vengeance Guard'.
  • Destructive and mysterious, no one knows how this weapon was created, who actually designed and built it, or where it even came from. Rumor has it that this heavy machine gun was crafted from the bodies of slain survivors that were never recovered. Should you be lucky enough to get your hands on one of these, there is virtually no being, living or dead, that can hope to stand in your way. Be warned, however, that this weapon possesses a mind of its own: It may turn against survivors who are not able to use it correctly which can potentially result in missing fingers and other injuries.
  • A mysterious SMG, able to rip anything in its path as its namesake suggests. Crafted from the remains of the victims that became prey to the infected, this weapon possesses great power, light weight, and is rather cheap to use. Be warned, however, this weapon's power comes at a great price, for some inexperienced survivors have supposedly died from using it. Some owners say they can hear faint cries and screams echoing from this weapon's firing chamber.
  • Not to be confused with the Desert Eagle, but close. This gun was built off the Desert Eagle, refitting the handle with that of a revolver's and well kept secured with duct tape, often joked as "the best material in the world". Unlike reloading a real Desert Eagle, the magazine is slipped into the gun itself by flipping the body open, inserting the mag into the body and then closing it, allowing for speed reloads. The gun produces a lot of heat when fired, therefore, a heatsink is attached below the gun to prevent the gun from exploding. Railroad spikes are used in place of blades, but the spikes don't last long as a bayonet.
  • A mysterious shotgun, crafted from the remains of the undead themselves. This weapon possesses great power, rumored to come from the souls of slain infected. One of its more gruesome details is in the infected human skull affixed to the base of the receiver-- the lower jaw is connected to the gun's bolt-interlock safety catch, requiring a survivor to actually open the skull's mouth in order to open or close the bolt, and to access the uniquely placed loading port. Its extra long barrel appears to be reinforced by the skull and spinal column of a "hellhound"-- one of the monstrous infected dogs that once prowled Fairview's streets in the initial outbreak. Some survivors claim that the gun's shots even sounds somewhat like the snarling bark of a hellhound.
  • A frightening mask, crafted from the skull of a slain infected. While it offers little in the way of protection, those who wear it have claimed to experience a strange lust to kill when in the heat of battle. Others claim that some zombies have hesitated to attack, or even turned and fled, when attacked by those wearing this mask. Whether these claims are credible, or merely rumors started by superstitious individuals, no one knows...
  • And like the Steel Case Reactive armour itself, the Steel Case Helmet is designed for sturdiness above all else. The helmet is made from a tightly woven, steel chain-link mesh, with a bulletproof visor set in the front. The helmet also possesses a side-mounted halogen floodlight, for maintaining visibility even in dense fog.
  • Made from a combination of layers of metal and hard leather-like materials, this mask accompanies the strongest armor ever created by fairview engineers. The visor reused from the Steelcase helmet due to a lack of materials during desperate times, provides both a clear field of vision and complete protection from projectiles. Survivors have stated it can take multiple blows from even the strongest of the infected.
  • A massive Gatling gun based off Richard Gatling's original designs used in the American Civil War, this minigun has made post-outbreak history in becoming the first weapon to outstrip the GAU-19 in its damaging ability. With the implementation of the new "Junkyard" technology used since a year ago, this gun can fire .50BMG rounds at a devastating velocity at the expense of a slower 500 rounds per minute, to prevent the gun from exploding when fired too long. With this, the Wraith Canon is among the deadliest weapons we have to combat the infected. So called because of its ability to tear a Wraith into shreds in a matter of minutes. The same can be said to other boss infected.
  • To further extend the Ironsight 33-F's abilities, this weapon was built by the gunsmiths by re-doing the Ironsight's blueprints from the scratch and optimizing the usage of rifle components found scrapped in the Junk Yard, resulting in a lighter, smaller yet deadlier rifle. A single bullet can easily turn a weak zombie into soup due to its massive velocity and pressure.
  • The first and foremost thing that should be said of the Buckblast 99A is this: As firearms go, it is a vicious beast. The weapon is modeled after an early type of shotgun from the late 17th century known as a blunderbuss. Blunderbusses were essentially small cannons, loaded by packing buckshot and gunpowder into the barrel and fired by a flintlock mechanism. They are easily recognized by their flared, bugle-like barrel openings , which have made them popular as non-threatening stand-ins for traditional firearms in many children's cartoons. However, the reality of this weapon is no laughing matter. Blunderbusses were such powerful weapons that even their smaller pistol variants were often nicknamed "dragons". With the added modern firearms technology of Fairview's Guild of gunsmiths, the Buckblast 99A makes the already-formidable blunderbuss look like a BB-gun. This shotgun delivers a brutal hailstorm of lead with every shot. The massive recoil from just one shot assures that you won't be "blazing away" with this monster, but then again, with its immense power, you won't really need to.
  • Utilizing component parts from blow-back-operated submachine guns, most notably the receiver, trigger group, and stock of the HK UMP-40, Fairview's engineers then cobbled these together with various light machine gun parts. The additional innovative use of polymers, lightweight metals, and a quad-stack magazine allow the Nine Cutter-X to have a massive magazine capacity and incredible firepower while weighing no more and being no less controllable than its smaller siblings.
  • One of the more ambitious ideas that has been buzzing about between Fairview's gunsmiths was the concept of an easy-to-produce coilgun. In a collaborative effort between outpost gunsmiths and AdminPwn's personal gunsmith team, the Marksman G8 was built. The Marksman takes advantage of the 14mm round's steel jacket, which is ferromagnetic. This allows the barrel's sequence of electromagnetic coils to accelerate the bullets to extremely high speeds, often well beyond Mach 5. What's more, the rifle's battery can be detached and recharged with a hand-crank generator while in an outpost. While not able to fire as fast as the Gauss gun , the Marksman G8 is nevertheless a deadly new advantage we have in the fight against the infected.
  • A mysterious rifle allegedly able to pierce anything that comes in its way, with accuracy exceeding any other known rifle in the world. It was rumored to be created from bones, taken from the remains of snipers who were unable to survive the first outbreak. Some survivors speak with much horror of having experienced a twisted craving to kill their fellow survivors when wielding this weapon, particularly other marksmen-- or anyone toting a rifle, for that matter. All of those survivors agree this gun is NOT for the faint of heart. If you listen closely, you can even still hear the loud cries of the dead it has claimed. Beware: Should you wander into the cross-hairs of anyone who wields this weapon, then you have virtually no hope of escaping a sudden, silent death.
  • The baby brother to the newly-designed Uziel, the Handshock was so-named because of its observed habit of vibrating intensely while being fired. Gunsmiths ascribed this as an unintended side-effect of combining high firing rate and high-caliber ammunition into the Handshock's small, compact frame. As such, the weapon requires a modest level of strength to properly fire without the vibrations causing a survivor to drop it by accident.
  • An accessory to the Scavenger Mesh armour, this mask is designed to be lightweight and comfortable while still offering a decent amount of protection to survivors. It is equipped with large, anti-fog lenses designed to maximize the visibility range of a survivor, making it easier to spot loot or zombies that one may wish to avoid. One of its most impressive features is the pair of mechanically-operated rubber cleaning strips over the lenses, which allow the wearer to clear away any dirt or gore from the lenses, without leaving vision-obscuring streaks or smudges.
  • In the never-ceasing race to build a machine gun capable of matching the GAU-19 in raw power, the gunsmiths of Fairview's four outposts joined together in a massive collaboration. The outcome of their work was the XLGunner-8 -- a veritable beast of a gun that has left even AdminPwn's own Dusk gunsmiths somewhat green with envy. While not as accurate as the Dusk MAG, and holding less ammunition per drum, the XLGunner is more than superior in pure damaging power. Thanks to the gun's large 120-round ammo drums, the XLGunner is able to sustain the firing speed of a minigun. Not only that, but the XLGunner also manages to achieve the same 'scattershot' effect as that of the Vulcan and GAU-19, giving it considerable knock back power. In a field test of the gun, engineers were attacked by a Titan, but to their surprise, the XLGunner not only held the monster at bay when they opened fire on it, it actually drove the Titan back long enough for a boss-hunting party to arrive and gun the beast down. Any survivor who gets his/her hands on one of these will quickly find out what it truly means to wield 'the big guns.'
  • This rare and "meaty" revolver has been carved from undead bones and bound in infected flesh. This weapon is the smallest and most lightweight of all the Corpse Gear, but you mustn't be overly confident with it, because its high recoil could knock you back just as easily as the undead.

The relationship between limited edition items and "permanent" items can be understood by contrasting limited edition seeds to permanent ones. Limited edition seeds couldn't be mastered when they were first introduced in Farmville. Later on, this has been upgraded, and limited edition seeds became available to mastery. However, they do not produce bushels or market stalls. They compensate for this lack of bushels by offering unusually high coin return, short maturation periods, and high XP. Thus, limited edition seeds, like Swiss Chard, are often excellent crops for players to turn a quick, high profit, as well as ones that allow for quick leveling. The same situation is generally true of trees and animals. Most limited edition trees, such as the Asian Pear, are amongst the highest in terms of both daily return and XP upon planting. Though far more expensive than most permanent trees, limited edition trees offer many more long term benefits than those which can be regularly bought at the market or received as a gift. Their daily return of coins-per-plot is often 2 or 3 times as great as a permanent tree. Equally, limited edition animals, like the fan sheep, offer unmatched XP-per-plot, because of their very high price and very small footprint. Limited edition buildings and decorations tend to be among the most highly prized by players. Their unusual design is often seen as key to making one's farm distinctive. Sometimes, they are only evocative of designs seen in a certain part of the world, such as adobe walls, but sometimes they are direct copies of things found in the real world, like the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal. The vast majority of limited edition buildings and decorations, however, are only available for purchase with FarmVille Cash.
The first collection of LE was released in Fall 2008, and was a very small and limited collection. Currently, the first collection of LE is the rarest to date, due to its very limited stock and very few people who still own the items. In an article posted by Isobel.Stardoll, the first edition of LE was full of sequins, studs, zippers and bold colours. The pink and black theme was described as 'fashions most graphic and energetic colour combination', and this was truly evident in the collection. The second collection was much larger and featured a Valentine's Day theme, due to its close release to the romantic holiday. It is currently referred to as Valentine or Denim LE, due to its abundance of both themes and styles. The Cupid Dress is the rarest item in this collection and is still a sought after item today. The third collection was released in the Spring of 2009, and featured many floral patterns. This collection captured the essence of spring, with plenty of warm and flowery colours, and plenty of pinks, yellows, frills and bows. The rarest dress in this collection is known as the Yellow Floral Cut Out Dress. The fourth collection of LE was full of abstract and bold patterns, including some artistic influence. The exact release date of this release is unknown, but due to Limited Edition being released every season, it can be assumed that this collection was released sometime in the summer of 2009. This collection was very limited, with up to 500 pieces of each dress available. The Balmain inspired Single Shoulder Blue Dress is considered one of the rarest items in this collection, and cost a huge 275 Stardollars to purchase directly from the shop at the time. The fifth collection of LE was released Winter 2009 and featured very fashionable and high class dresses that are hard to come by today. Each floor was a different colour, going pink, blue, purple and black. The Jolie Frock and Padded Chainlink Dress are considered the rarest pieces from this collection. The sixth collection of the Limited Edition brand was released sometime in Spring 2010, with no exact release date. It was a very floral and outdoorsy collection, and featured very vibrant pink and red colours in each design. With a total of four floors full of outfits, it was considered quite a large collection. The Lace Sleeve Spring Coat is the rarest piece. The seventh collection of Limited Edition was released sometime in the summer of 2010, and featured a purple, grey and black colour scheme. The collection received mixed reviews from Stardoll users, but overall sold every piece in its collection. The jacket is considered the rarest piece. The eighth collection of LE featured plaid as its main pattern, and this was incorporated into many of the clothing designs. It was the only collection to feature the least amount of dresses, but this opened the door for more customisation that enabled users to play around with different combinations of clothes. The ninth collection of Limited Edition had no exact release date, but it tied in nicely with Valentine's Day and was likely released in February 2011. This collection featured a lot of red and black, including bold lip prints. This is typically referred to as the Love Collection. The tenth collection was the wildest and craziest collection to date, with bold patterns, flashy fabrics and designs, and crazy combinations of both. The release date for this collection is currently unknown, as the exact date has not been specified, but it was released some time in 2011. It was a wild collection with a plethora of tutus and other crazy clothing. This collection is sometimes compared to Antidote, as it resembles the type of clothing that is typically released through the other limited line. The eleventh collection of Limited Edition was a beautiful floral collection released some time in 2011, and featured many pastel colours that are typically associated with spring and the outdoors. It was not long before the entire collection had sold out. The twelfth collection of LE went in an entire different direction to collection eleven, and featured more of a city chic look. It was a lot of glam and high fashion that had not been typically seen in the other collections, and many of the abstract designs of the dresses were a stand out to those looking for bold and out there pieces. The thirteenth collection of Limited Edition was released in 2012. This collection went back to safer and softer colours, with plenty of pastel and hints of floral elements. In July 2012, the fourteenth collection of LE was released. Unfortunately, this was a big hit and a miss with Stardoll users, with many considering it to be the worst collection ever released. Many of the designs were plain, and did not have a clear identity. To make things worse, some of the pieces did not sell out entirely. This made some of the clothing more limited, but was still not desirable for users. The fifteenth collection of LE did not have a specific release date, but it was some time in 2012. Again, this collection did not hit it off with users, as some citing LE as 'missing its identity' and 'losing its sense of direction'. Despite this, one of the rarest Limited Edition items - the Steampunk Platforms - were released in this collection. The sixteenth collection of Limited Edition was released on the 4th of April, 2013. Many of the items were inspired by Dior, Lanvin, Chanel and other Spring collections, and was therefore considered a huge improvement from the previous collections. Interestingly, the accessories for this collection were released a few days after its initial release. The seventeenth collection of the Limited Edition brand was released on the 18th of June 2013, and was inspired entirely by Versace. It was overall a very classy collection, and clearly highlighted how exclusive and 'limited edition' the LE brand was supposed to be. The eighteenth collection was released on the 20th of September, 2013. Swedish users experienced a weird bug before its release, enabling them to purchase some of the items without seeing what they were (as they were invisible). This was fixed once the collection was released, and everyone who purchased an invisible item was given the correct one, according to whichever invisible product they purchased. This particular collection featured many heart and plaid prints, inspired by Versace, Chanel and other designers. The nineteenth collection of Limited Edition was released on the 24th of January 2014, and was the longest wait for an LE release. A few technical issues occurred before the release, with the announcement coming a lot earlier than expected. Users were waiting for at least two days for the collection to be released in the Starplaza, despite it showing on the front page as normal. The issue was fixed the following day and the store had a successful opening. The twentieth collection of Limited Edition was released on the 11th of April 2014, and featured clothing from Balmain Spring. It was an elegant collection with an array of dresses and accessories, with mostly pastel colours and soft patterns. On July 25th 2014, the twenty-first collection of Limited Edition was released. In this edition, a 'Face of LE' competition was announced, allowing the winning user to get their face on the promotional content for the collection. The winner was xXEwelina1996Xx, and her dolls face was plastered on advertisements across the site. This collection was inspired by Diesel Black Gold, Celine Spring, Rodarte and Givenchy. The twenty-second collection of the LE brand was released October 23rd, 2014, and was named 'LE Glam Rock Fall 14'. The glam rock theme was evident in the designs, with many bold reds paired with jet black pieces. The clothing items in this collection were inspired by Balmain, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Isabel Marant, Judith Leiber, Celine and many more. The twenty-third collection, released on February 20th 2015, had items inspired by Dolce & Gabbana, Maison Margiela, Balmain, Armani and many more. This collection was the pinnacle of classy, and perfectly showcased how exclusive and limited the pieces were. This release featured a multitude of black and white pieces, with dark greens and creamier colours thrown in to balance the two tones. It was an elegant release and was met with praise from users. On the 22nd of May 2015, the twenty-fourth collection of Limited Edition was released. Inspired by various fashion designers such as Givenchy, Chanel, Valentino and more, the collection was full of floral, bright and pastel colours, featuring hints of transparency, couture and texture - making it almost perfect for any Spring collection. The twenty-fifth collection of the Limited Edition brand was released under the name 'LE Americana', on August 14th 2015. The clothing items were inspired by Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Versace and Tommy Hilfiger. This collection was all about American pride, and featured a plethora of stars, stripes, American flags, and the all important red, white and blue colours. The twenty-sixth collection of LE was released on November 6th, 2015, and includes items inspired by Valentino, Alberta Ferreti and more. The release featured a lot of fabric and dynamic patterns, with each outfit fitting together very well. The dark orange and brown colours perfectly suited the desert backdrop they were displayed against. It took longer than expected for the items to sell out, but it was just in time for the release of the twenty-seventh collection. The twenty-seventh collection of Limited Edition was released on the 26th of February, 2016. Nearly all the items in this collection are either black or white, and some items were sold out in its first hour of release. Many of the clothing pieces played around with texture, but were also kept very simple to accentuate the shiny look. The collection was minimalist, and featured shiny vinyl pieces and soft fabrics.
