Later on, Delkeye was founded by Messink Messon in order to replace Dereseye, which languished, and whose ruins were eventually mostly destroyed by Mount Deres, a volcano and the largest mountain of Deres Isle. The dead Slave Masters are said to haunt the town, being unable to rest until such a time where their slaves bowed to them again, or whenever Mount Deres buries them under ash.
