| abstract | - The Blackwood group are having problems living together at the command center, getting on each other's nerves while confined to the sweltering bunker. The aliens are having their own troubles: their numbers are dwindling as they continue to try to find some way to control humanity. Kincaid finally gets fed up with the bickering among his colleagues, and leaves the center for some "breathing space". Meanwhile the aliens brainstorm another attack, when they duplicate the leader of "The Scavengers", a bizarre rock group who are to introduce new music, which will put street gangs in the city on the rampage.
