  • "You earn this badge when you first join the game. Now you can start practicing magic!" Earned when you join your first game of Arcane Adventures.
  • __NOEDITSECTION__ File:Nav bar left.png Guides and Tutorials File:Nav bar right.png __NOEDITSECTION__ You can earn badges on this wiki by editing pages, uploading photos and leaving comments. • Badges are little icons that reward the user with points for editing an article. In order to earn a badge, one must edit an article with a specific category attached. • Yukkuri Badges are the physical representation of a quality grading system used to distinguish pet yukkuri from wild yukkuri. They denote varying levels of demeanor and training. Some stories will just use one type of badge (often to mark a pet yukkuri), as it is unnecessary to go into further detail about them. However, ones that deal with badges and pets specifically may feature the full set for story reasons.
  • Many characters in the Girl Genius comics wear or display badges. The badges are used as cloak clasps, lockets, or other clothing. Badges are also seen on machinery to identify the owner or owning House. The use of badges in these manners is an old heraldic practice, and many our-world examples can be found throughout history. Note that the [ gas connector ring] [[Chronology - Volume #|✣ ]] Gil slides onto Agatha's ring finger has the badge stamped into the band — as she looks at it, she remarks, "You guys really do sign everything, don't you?"
  • Badges are NintenKingdom 64's rewards. They are represented using badges and items from Paper Mario: the Thousand-Year Door. Prior to the end of 2008 overhaul, they were often square frames containing differing images, although some badges have a different appearance than others. Badges are often used to designate that someone has accomplished a certain task, such as creating a topic with at least five pages. Most of the original badges featured Paper Mario (N64) sprites, although there are many notable exceptions. The current Badge Moderator is supercomputer276.
  • As with any normal Pokémon game, Pokémon Zeta and Omicron reward the player with badges after defeating Gym Leaders throughout their quest which will then allow them to bypass obstacles that they encounter. In addition to the standard of 8 Gym Leaders, Zeta and Omicron also feature 8 more badges that are obtained not only from Gyms, but from new areas known as Sigil Halls which serve to give the player a more challenging rematch versus the previously defeated Elite Four members. Additionally, the badges given by the Sigil Hall masters are appropriately referred to as Sigils, though they serve the same basic purposes as any of the other 12 badges collected throughout the player's journey.
  • To earn a badge, you must first locate what badge you want to achieve. A full list of badges can be found on Kongregate's own site here. You can use the drop down boxes to filter the badges by difficulty, time on Kongregate and even Most or Least awarded. You can also use the menu to the left to filter the badges by their subsequent game's genre as specified by the developer. If you do not wish to earn any of the 20 visible badges on that page, you can click on the "next »" link near to the bottom of the page to load up a whole new page of badges. Kongregate has 2,503 badges to date: 767 easy badges, 1,071 medium badges, 617 hard badges, and 48 impossible badges. This means collecting every badge would get you 41,290 points. (last updated on June 3rd, 2014).
  • Throughout your wizard's journey, you will obtain various Badges. Badges are provided in recognition of difficult and arduous tasks that you have completed during your studies. Badge tasks often include defeating a large number of the same kind of monster, defeating certain Bosses or Towers, or helping protect a location. You can access your list of Badges from your character screen. Press "C" or select the top tab in your spell book to access your character screen. Then, click on the second tab (the green badge in the blue circle) of the four in the upper right of your character screen.
  • Badges are awards earned for completing a particular task in a single online ranked match. Unlike Feats they do not need to be completed in a single life. Many Feat contributions can build towards Badges, but a player is not rewarded with money for Badges you earn during a match.

explanation
  • When an ice attack hits the badge, five ice bolts will scatter from the player , each doing 1/5th of the original shot's damage. If the badge reflects rather than deflects, an Ice Meteor dealing the original damage will shoot out and target the original sender. The shrapnel from this meteor will deal 10% damage each.
  • When a fire attack hits the badge, five heat clouds will emit from the player in a star pattern. If the badge reflects rather than deflects, the heat clouds will target the opponent in a similar fashion to the Pyramid Boss's flame attack. Levels 4, 5, and 6 boost the attack power by 25, 50, and 125%, respectively.
  • The Counter Badge is significantly rarer than any other badge. It has about a 1/3 chance of reflecting any physical attack for double damage. The countered attack takes the form of three very fast-moving arrows, similar to the Seaside 2 boss. Each of these deals 66% of the original damage, adding up to about 200%. Unlike the other badges, there is only one level of the Counter Badge .
  • When a thunder attack deflects off the badge, five bolts will shoot out from the character and scatter a short distance, each doing 1/5th of the original damage. When a thunder attack reflects, however, it will shoot a single large bolt at the nearest opponent. Levels 4, 5, and 6 will boost the damage of the attack by 25, 50, and 125% respectively.

If the Badge Moderator and/or any of the admins believe the member has earned the badge(s), it/they will be granted. Under extreme circumstances, it is also possible for the Badge Moderator and/or admins to unassign a member a certain badge if the need arises. So far, no cases of forceful badge claiming have been reported. Admins as well as the Badge Moderator by extension are allowed to reward themselves badges. The current Badge Moderator is supercomputer276.

  • Badges are awards earned for completing a particular task in a single online ranked match. Unlike Feats they do not need to be completed in a single life. Many Feat contributions can build towards Badges, but a player is not rewarded with money for Badges you earn during a match. XP earned from Badges eventually increases your rank, giving you a new rank. After a few levels within a rank you move into the next rank, earning a new insignia in the process. The insignia is displayed in the player list and on your Ranked Stats page. Ranks are purely a means of reflecting a player's prowess; they do not give the player any special equipment or other advantages over other players.

The player only needs to collect the first 8 badges to challenge the Quasar League; the remaining 8 are viewed to be an additional challenge above all else. 12 badges are collected in the Vesryn Region while the remaining 4 are won in the Aroma Region. Despite the Aroma Region having its own set of badges, there is no League to challenge after having collected them all.
