  • Bartholomeus was born on the planet Dorcaya, as the son of an influential banker on Dorcaya's planetary civilization. When he was twelve years old, his family was exiled from Dorcaya as the result of a coup orchestrated by the Vizzizzet Dissident Group, and they found shelter on planet Rothwidge of the Rothai sector. Living on Rothwidge during the rest of his life, Bartholomeus strongly contributed to the world's progress, and was the co-founder of the Rothwidge Planetary Bank, as well as the leader member of the noble Pazzi family when his parents died as the result of a terrorist attack. Despite the death of his father and mother, Bartholomeus did not have a life with low resources, as his rise to power came immediately when he was thirty-eight. By the year 1,071 BBY, he was elected President of the Rothwidge Planetary Bank, and so, he became the most powerful man on Rothwidge. Exacting revenge against the terrorists that killed his parents, Bartholomeus started a despotic ruling, punishing crime of all kind, as well as the lowest social classes. By the time he was fifty, Bartholomeus married noble Carlotta Izia da Vesmari, and had a son he called Jean-Claud. With his war against crime bringing good results, Bartholomeus founded the Rothwidge Government Military Arm, turning himself into a powerful man and independent to the hiring of mercenaries and bounty hunters. However, though he only wished to crave power and punish crime, Bartholomeus was the man who secretly had many of the people formerly involved on splinter groups tortured and murdered, only because of the fact he felt that they were guilty of his parents' death. This procedures involved the execution of the man's entire families. By the time he was ninety-two he was still in command, though he died from natural death. On 34 BBY, Rothai historian Alejandro di Banino did an investigation on previous Rothwidge leaders, and made a full report on Bartholomeus and many of the members of the House of Pazzi that followed him.
