| abstract | - Mu'ei (無影, Shadowless) is a title first given to Kowachi Gaman. Through his beliefs and extreme sense of justice, Kowachi amassed a group of followers who would adopt his own beliefs within the Land of Earth. With their violent acts of aggression towards shinobi and missing-nin alike, Mu'ei would cause an uprising that would catch the attention of the Earth Daimyō. After giving the order to cease the group, the Tsuchikage would send special forces to accomplish the task. Mu'ei would then disband under the strength of the government. After many years, Mu'ei would begin to grow again. With the discovery of Kowachi's child, Kuzure, Mu'ei would seek to make him their leader.
