  • The book continues to be a staple of secondary education, as it lets kids read sexually fueled literature by an author who was high on every drug known to man, including soma and acid. It is a popular book assignment in high school due to its depressing philosophy, which a student can be assigned to convert into a ponderously long essay that could easily be the beginnings of a deeply depressing doctoral thesis paper or a teen suicide note to the beta pluses that never understood them at Mensa. The book itself gives useful help on ponderousness, frequently using sentences longer than the time it takes to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.

  • Brave New World is the twelfth album by Iron Maiden, released on May 29, 2000. It is the most modern and intelligent album the band has made in over a dozen years. The return of frontman Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith (who left the band in 1993 & 1990 respectively) in 1999 established the ultimate Iron Maiden line-up of Dickinson on vocals, Steve Harris on bass, Nicko McBrain on drums and “the three amigos” – Smith, Dave Murray and Janick Gers - on guitar. This line-up was responsible for the albums that made Iron Maiden arguably the most influential metal band in the world.
  • Brave New World is the twelfth studio album by British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on May 29, 2000. The Brave New World Tour was the tour in support of the album, during which the show at Rock in Rio was recorded and later released as a live album and video.
  • The United States saw a resurgence in the early part of the 21st century (2017-2031) before falling into decline with the eventual American Civil War (2034-2035) and the partition and dissolution of the American Federation. America played a forefront role in the destruction of ISIS in coalition with Russia, as well as participating in the relief effort in India and Pakistan after the South Asian war that saw southern Asia devastated by armed conflict and limited nuclear war in 2019. The United states collapsed much like the Soviet Union, unexpected and due to a long buildup of external problems sped up by external pressures.
  • Brave New World is a novel by Adolphus Huxley that represents a satirical view of a dystopia. Unlike the world of 1984, also a dystopia, this canon is fairly hedonistic and the characters are generally happy, if shallow, excepting several of the protagonists. This is essentially because they are engineered to be that way: "civilized" people are grown in bottles and treated in order to produce the desired level of intelligence, from Epsilon-caste dumb-as-bricks laborers to Alpha-caste decision-making types. Women don't give birth anymore, despite being encouraged by the state to have many sexual partners as a form of recreation; only the upper castes are fertile at all, and they use a form of birth control.
  • Brave New World is a novel written in 1931 by Aldous Huxley and published in 1932. Set in London of AD 2540 (632 A.F. – "After Ford" – in the book), the novel anticipates developments inreproductive technology, sleep-learning, psychological manipulation, and operant conditioning that combine to profoundly change society. Huxley answered this book with a reassessment in an essay, Brave New World Revisited (1958), and with Island (1962), his final novel.

In 1999, the Modern Library ranked Brave New World fifth on its list of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century. In 2003, Robert McCrum writing for The Observer listedBrave New World number 53 in "the top 100 greatest novels of all time", and the novel was listed at number 87 on the BBC's survey The Big Read.

The forced re-industrialization of America lead to a periodical decline of China which started the second cold war. America, under the leadership of Donald Trump, sought friendship with former foe Russia in this Brave New World as Europe adopted isolationism and fell into civil war with the fall of the European Superstate barely a year or more after its conception and the Chinese bought out most of Africa in what is now referred to as "Stealth Colonialism" or "Sino-Colonialism" In what is known as the Second Reconquista or the European Civil War (Although these may be seen as separate events, and a collection of individual events such as the French Civil War or the Rise of Poland) Europe collapsed into chaos after a Dirty Bomb attack in Strasbourg. This lead to one of the bloodiest conflicts in history, starting with the French Civil War which then spread to Belgium, Greece, Turkey and Germany. Many Populist Parties also won landslide elections such as in the Netherlands, Poland, Norway, Finland,Spain, Italy, Austria and many other nations. An estimated 60%-75% of Europe's Muslim population fled the continent or were killed. The nation of Turkey collapsed amid civil war between the Islamist Neo--Ottoman government and a large segment of the population and former civil servants who wanted to re-institute a Secular Republic. Many other Groups such as Nationalist Greece, Syrian Kurdistan, Turkey's Kurds, Armenian Nationalists and other political interests used this as an opportunity. This is known as the Syrianization of Turkey, the term Syrianization was adopted much like Balkanization. Syrianization refers to the total, and seemingly endless civil war and division of a country between various after illegitimate factions who bide for control or succession that effectively function as states in the absence of order as the government struggles to maintain control. This process also took place in various other countries in the ensuing decades and for a brief period in China in the 2060s and the USA in the 2040s and India very briefly in the 2020s as well as lastly in a much longer fashion in various smaller states, but none were as bloody as the conflict in Turkey which lasted nearly 15 years.

Women don't give birth anymore, despite being encouraged by the state to have many sexual partners as a form of recreation; only the upper castes are fertile at all, and they use a form of birth control. After being decanted, children are programmed to love their caste. The idea is basically that if you only know as much as you need to do your job, you won't make yourself unhappy by constantly striving for something better. Of course, this doesn't always work perfectly, as the events of the novel show. Some people still live outside of civilization in "Savage Reservations," and still engage in barbaric things like having committed relationships and giving birth. The drug soma from this continuum, used for producing a stress-relieving hallucinogenic "holiday" in case people are confronted by things they aren't programmed to understand, is a forbidden substance in the PPC.
