  • Francis Chalmer (c.1793 - 22 July 1859) was a magistrate and "gentleman of independent means" who lived in Chelsea. The son of Edmund Chalmer, he lived at Cheyne Row. In 1837 he was a member of the Commissioners for Sewers for Westminster and part of Middlesex. He was a member of Chelsea Vestry, and was the parish's representative on the Metropolitan Board of Works from 1855-1858. He was buried in Brompton Cemetery.
