Accadde allora che qualcuno decise di superare le etichette e buttare nel proprio pentolone qualsiasi influenza musicale e vedere cosa ne sarebbe uscito. Al massimo si sarebbe prospettato un buon futuro come cuochi free-style. Nacque invece lo Sludge Metal, il metallo fangoso, sudicio, oscuro, sattanico, onirico... talmente onirico che al risveglio ti accorgerai di non avere acceso il Lettore.
