Suddenly, out of the sky, a gazebo with a distraught Lizzie aboard came rushing down onto the cake, giving everybody a bit of it, which caused the DCFDTL to sob. Nigel, finding Lizzie unhurt in the gazebo, and remembered Lizzie trying to say sorry for double-crossing him and he gladly accepted her apology.
