She eventually escaped servitude under Gibranna with the help of bounty hunter Ryluk Shouja, whose wife had been kidnapped by the Hutt and held in the same cell as Astan'alkar. Ryluk gave her a credit cube worth several million credits after freeing her, which he had stolen from the Hutt. The bounty hunter claimed that it was payment for the years she had worked for Gibranna. Astan'alkar eventually returned to Ryloth with her sister before turning to spacefaring, trading for a living.
