| abstract | - Is an enemy that first appears in Pikmin: New World. It is a very close relative of the ordinary Mamuta but is far from simply being a harmless cultivater of flowers and plants. Its brown coloured body is surrounded completely by a shield of water that drowns all but blue pikmin. Its sand-coloured arms have large paddles on their ends for vigorously deflowering pikmin, the opposite of the mamuta. The only reason it is not grouped as a harmless enemy is because of its water shield. It is often found sleeping on the ground in a supine position with its arms on its chest and its large, green eyes closed. It will wake up when approached though, and does so as readily as an Orange Bulborb. The best possible strategy for taking care of this troublesome foe is to rapidly toss blue pikmin onto its forehead, as they will not be damaged by its water. It is also smart to toss pikmin very quickly onto it while sleeping. It can be stunned with purples, but they will drown if not whistled on very quickly. As soon as it dies its water bubble pops and it falls over in a heap, allowing all pikmin types to carry it back to their onion or the Dolphin Pod. Despite all of the trouble that it causes, this calm colossus is found on many of the games rest floors.
