This race was actually tape delayed by CBS, who chose to go to Senior PGA Tour golf instead of returning to cover the race after the rain delay. CBS ran the race the following Sunday. This is the last Cup Series event that has been shownon tape delay. Gordon also rocketed to the points lead, nine markers ahead of teammate Terry Labonte (24th). Stats
