  • James L. Archibald (born June 6, 1961 in Craik, Saskatchewan) is a former National Hockey League right winger. He played Tier II Junior "A" for the Moose Jaw Canucks in 1980-81 and then played for the North Dakota Fighting Sioux from 1981 to 1985. The Minnesota North Stars chose him 139th overall in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft. He played four games for the Stars at the and of the 1984-85 season and played another twelve over the next two seasons. In all he played in 16 NHL games and scored a goal and two assists. He retired in 1988.
