The ball count eventually reaches 10 balls. Kintaro stunned, does return all of them. After returning all 10 balls, Kintaro yells he will become the to tennis player in Japan. Kintaro returns the last balls and sets the net on fire. Kintaro and Oni continue their match with both players commenting on each other. Kintaro reminds Oni of himself from tweo years ago, which starts his backstory. The entire audience is shocked. Oni's true strength have been revealed. The middle schoolers comment that he resembled a demon. Byodoin's scar on his forehead starts to throb in pain. The demonic Oni, Byodoin knows, has returned. Oni wins the first set, 6-3. Kintaro is helpless at this point. Irie gives a brief summary what happened two years ago. Oni defeated Byodoin and he remained the top Japanese player while Byodoin was involved in mountain training. Tokugawa completes the story by telling the audience that he waited for the rise of a new generation while staying on the 5th court. He reveals he had no idea of Oni's true power. Sanada notices that Akutsu is still gone so he goes to search for him. Oni wins 3 games straight in the 2nd set. Kintaro's knees begin to wobble. Oni is easily dominating Kintaro, 5-0. Kintaro is completely burned out. However, since Kintaro finds the math intertsing, he finally unlocks Teni Muhō no Kiwami. By unlocking Teni Muhō no Kiwami, Kintaro easily and quickly wins a game from Oni. Oni manages to return a shot from Kintaro. Kintaro is genuinely happy despite still losing. Oni unlocks Teni Muhō no Kiwami as well. They both complete the match genuinely enjoying tennis, with Oni winning 6-1. When it was announced Oni won, Kintaro didn't even know the match was over since he had a lot of fun. Oni looks forward to the day Kintaro gets even stronger.
