Popular WoW podcasts of note are: All Things Azeroth, Blue Plz!, Outlandish, The Instance, The Rawrcast Show, Twisted Nether Blogcast,and World of Warcast. All of these have received high acclaim from many organizations and some of them have come to the forefront of the most popular podcasts available today.

- Le podcasting ou la baladodiffusion est un moyen gratuit de diffusion de fichiers (audio, vidéo ou autres) sur Internet appelés podcasts ou balados. Par l'entremise d'un abonnement aux flux RSS ou Atom, le podcasting permet aux utilisateurs l'écoute ou le téléchargement automatique d'émissions audio ou vidéo pour les baladeurs numériques en vue d'une écoute immédiate ou ultérieure. On peut considérer que la baladodiffusion trouve son origine dans l’avènement du Web 2.0 et particulièrement dans le développement de technologie comme le Flux RSS. Dans son article présentant le Web 2.0, Tim O'Reilly dénote les possibilités qu’offrent les flux RSS : « RSS n’est désormais plus seulement utilisé pour afficher les actualités des blogs, mais aussi pour toute sorte de données régulièrement mises à jour : cours de la bourse, météo, disponibilité de photos ». Même si O’Reilly ne parle pas encore de vidéo on comprend que cela se présente comme l’évolution logique de la syndication des contenus.

In addition, there are podcast networks that feature multiple shows on the same feed. Even before the World of Warcraft was live, WoW Radio was on the air talking about the game. In time, other early podcasts started up like World of Warcast, Taverncast, and World of Podcast. Some of these early podcasts are still updating, some have changed subject matter, and others have podfaded. Today, Warcraft has over seventy active podcasts produced mostly in English but also French, Russian, Swedish, etc. Popular WoW podcasts of note are: All Things Azeroth, Blue Plz!, Outlandish, The Instance, The Rawrcast Show, Twisted Nether Blogcast,and World of Warcast.
