This brand of his radiation release is able to be resisted by those with higher levels of chakra and chakra control, by forcing chakra out of their tenketsu to deny the Radiation Release chakra entrance, as this particular technique requires the chakra to take effect. However, most shinobi are not capable of this feat, and even those with great control fall prey to a feeling of weakness. If not resisted in this manner, the technique causes them to take the effects of radiation poisoning at a rate of just minutes, to varying degrees based on how well their chakra system resists the foreign chakra and how long they were exposed to it. They take on a greyish pallour, marking them as victims of the technique, and feel weak and tired, having aches all over, as well as headaches. If they are higher-level victims, they begin to vomit, and may fall into a high fever, causing wounds to fester and become infected. At the worst level of it, the victim loses their hair, their vomit is bloody, and they become disoriented and further weakened. Josho himself is immune to this technique, but cannot choose to protect others from it, and cannot reverse the effects of the technique.
