  • Gargantus are two unrelated villains from Marvel comics.
  • The Gargantus was a gigantic bronze construct, possibly of the Metal Golem variety. It was used as the third champion of the Dai-Oni, at the Tourney of the Planes, against the samurai Kensei. It was vanquished despite its immense strength and magical powers, which were manifest as bolts of energy from its eyes, crafted out of the finest rubies. It is unknown whether it was finally defeated by Eleanor the Enchantress or the Knights of the Golden Company, both of whom might have been acquired as allies by the Kensei, or whether it was the samurai himself who dealt the final blow.
