This universe was named so because writer Christopher Yost is a prominent figure in all the series and videos. This is the fourth animated universe spanning multiple series and/or videos after the Marvel Productions Universe, Marvel Animated Universe, and Ultimate Avengers Universe. It was replaced with the Marvel Animation Universe.
