  • Forcefields are designed to prevent an individual or their weapons fire from passing through a certain point, much like Shields on Spaceships. They are utilized by many races as security barriers.
  • The force field, A.K.A the Morbot shield, is a pick up item that you can get in Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. It acts as protection from enemy weapons until it depletes. In later levels of the game "Elite" enemy units can be seen with the Force Field. This power up appears in later levels of the campaign but it appears in many multiplayer levels.
  • Roger has encountered a variety of forcefields in his travels.
  • The Forcefield is a item that was added with the Astro Pack. It acts like a House Entrance. The Forcefield seed was available when the Astro Pack first came out, the seed was a glitch and Seth removed it.
  • Forcefields were used to protect an area. They made multiple appearances throughout Up Your Arsenal, notably in areas where the Tyhrraguise needed to be used to convince the One-Eyed Tyhrranoids to do certain things. Forcefields were colored blue, besides the one in the Insomniac Museum, which is colored green. In Full Frontal Assault they were powered by Shield generators.
  • Forcefield will cause damage to be dealt to your Energon instead of your Endurance, until you deactivate the field or you run out of Energon. Anyone may use the general !Forcefield command to list their forcefield status. For example, this will display if you are being protected by a forcefield or (if you have the ability) who your forcefield is currently protecting, if anyone. People with the forcefield ability can use the following commands: !forcefield - Casts a forcefield around a target. !forcefield/off - Disables your forcefield.
Summary
  • Cast around self or ally to use ENG in place of END.

People with the forcefield ability can use the following commands: !forcefield - Casts a forcefield around a target. !forcefield/off - Disables your forcefield. Activating a Forcefield will consume your turn. you may keep it up for as long as you wish. Note that while your forcefield is protecting someone or yourself, any damage they/you take will be deducted from your Energon instead of the target's Endurance. Be careful about this when you cast a forcefield around someone who's easy to hit. Forcefields will absorb attacks containing special effects as well as ones that are just damage; absorbing an effect drains the forcefield as if it had taken damage similar to a normal attack of the same cost-to-fire.
