| Desirability | - Medal of Chaos is necessary for ultra endings, but it will be typically only used for safe passage through the Chaos Gate. The main cause for this is the sheer amount of negative features — the artifact curses and dooms the PC and gradually corrupts the PC if it is in his/her inventory . Intrinsics granted by Medal of Chaos are rather insignificant and cannot possibly compensate even dooming alone. DV and PV are relatively good but again nowhere near acceptable considering mentioned disadvantages. Finally, Appearance bonus is practically useless; the only advantage of a large Appearance boost besides influencing shop prices for females is usually resistance to gaining corruptions, but as part of the Chaos Trinity the Medal of Chaos gradually corrupts the PC too.
