  • Latex Generation is a New York, USA punk rock band that formed in the early 1990s. The band's name was inspired by a news report that spoke of the current generation of teens regarding the threat of STDs and the AIDS epidemic. The name has also been said to be a play on words as the "Late X Generation" because the members all fall age-wise at the tail end of Generation X. The band are also referred to as "L8XG" or just "LG".
