  • Escaping the previous group that Anana had been a part of, she and her friend Sarai were ambushed by gacerian mercenaries hired by the Oracles. Giving her life, Sarai died that day, but Anana met Ayumi who introduced a new lifestyle and one that would benefit both of them. Once the mercs were killed, they flew to Ruusan and the orphan from Belsavis was introduced to and accepted by, the Penumbra. Now, meeting Nathanial the next morning, she will begin her training to expand her Force abilities beyond occasional dreams and warnings from the Force itself. Background Taken from their ancestral home of Belsavis, Anana, her brothers and cousins were kidnapped by slavers one night and taken to Ord Sabaok. The aliens then sold each of them to various buyers, many abusive and wealthy. Anana was renamed Bryana by her new master, a couple who enjoyed several slaves from a variety of backgrounds. Keeping to herself when she could, her desperation to find her brothers and cousins created problems in the mansion. One incident introduced the young Saami girl to her affinity with the Force when several expensive, crystal goblets exploded. Angered by the normal, daily beatings by their overlord, the house's butler, Anana had had enough. But, her outburst caught everyone offguard, especially the catalyst for the incident. From that day on, she was sent to the premier Imperial academy on Ord Sabaok and tutored in Aurebesh as well as all the other skills that never would've been taught back home. Separated from her cousin, Maggewetok again, she had no one else to rely on until the day that a pair of females showed up at the dorm room one evening. The news that the young, dark haired female had powers beyond those of normal people, Bryana was to be taught the arts of the Force as well as other uses for nature. They also taught their new prodigy the fighting arts which they found she had a inherent talent for. Blades became a favorite avenue to vent her frustrations, still missing her family and dwelling on the hatred that she still held for the slavers that took her life from her. Vowing to one day hunt them all down, she first had to soak up all these witches had to pass on. Affiliated with a secretive sect of Oracles, their elder was a good friend with the Imperial Emperor and was gone on diplomatic trips to Coruscant quite often. Several years of training finally past and Bryana was called to the main chamber to perform her final test and become one of them. What she found there was the last thing that she expected, but they demanded that she follow through with her vows to their Order. Both of her brothers were tied to a large table and they would have to give their lives to make the student a full-fledged oracle. A dark day that has never left her and one that she's struggled with since.Family Anana misses her cousins dearly as they're the only links to her old life that she has left. Now on her own, she's keeping her eyes open for Maggewetok as well as her cousins, Nukilik and Miki. Ibraya, her mother was a very loving and warm person and the one that corralled them that dreadful night in the snow. Urging them to run, her mother's strength was the only thing that kept Anana from quitting on life itself since. Knowing their village was burned to the ground, she was one of the only ones that could carry on their family's legacy. Rege'inok, her father was a quiet, serious man who taught all of his children how to hunt and use everything from a kill to supply the family with all they needed from toys to bedding. Carving was one thing that Anana has continued in his memory.
