Synopsis
  • Juan Jones, the chief of the international harbor police, discovers a gold smuggling operation headed by Tim Weed. However, Weed has disguised the stolen gold as ancient coins which he claims to have found on a sunken ship. The case against Weed is thrown out of court, disgracing Jones. Aquaman offers to help Jones regain his reputation by stopping Weed. Along with several of his colleagues, the police chief begins special off-duty patrols using Aquaman's fish friends. Weed's operations are soon discovered as his men are melting down the stolen gold and creating the coins in a secret underwater base. Aquaman succeeds in stopping Weed, and Juan's reputation is restored.
  • Superboy reenacts the story of Cinderella when he has to play Prince Charming to a plain girl humiliated by her glamorous cousins.
  • Tubby Watts gives up his job as Johnny's assistant and opens a new restaurant. He soon finds crooks outside the store, but Johnny Quick chases them away. The crooks return again and sabotage the power to the restaurant kitchen. Johnny Quick helps keep the restaurant running, then he apprehends the crooks. Finally, he tricks them into revealing the location of some stolen gems which were hidden in the restaurant. Following the near disaster, Tubby sells his restaurant and goes back to work as Johnny's assistant.
